Silent Bell

The Silent Bell installation is inspired by the central European tradition where cast metal church bells were replaced with wooden bells during Easter: In respect for – and in memory of their lost ones.


In the wake of the terrorist attack on Utøya 2011, Fantastic Norway was engaged to creating a strategy to re-establish the political camp on the island.

Slide City

Slide City is an installation consisting of small high-rises, lit from the inside, with 2000 of Per Kartvedt’s legendary slides as windows.  

Fantastic Norway (2003-2013)

The Fantastic Norway project explored the vision of an alternative, inclusive, and socially aware architectural practice. For 10 years a red caravan was the heart and soul of the ambulant studio.
