Since the early years of the 20th century, architects have shown an enduring interest in the comic strip as a means to explore their field of activity.

In the exhibition “Architecture in Comic-Strip Form” curator Anne Marit Lunde and Mélanie van der Hoorn discusses the relationship between architecture and the comic strip. The works in the exhibition cover the period from 1911 to the present: works such as Le Corbusier’s Lettre à Madame Meyer (1925) to Chris Ware’s Building Stories (2012).

Vardehaugen both exhibit some of our own cartoons and drawings, in addition to contributing with the exhibition design.
